I'm very excited to be having a SOLO show soon!

Where: BLUE MOUNTAINS CULTURAL CENTRE, REGIONAL GALLERY

When: JULY 4th - AUGUST 24th, 2014

Last year my exhibition proposal was selected for a Solo Exhibition at the new Blue Mountains City Art Gallery, within the new Blue Mountains Cultural Centre.

My exhibition is part of the Cultural Centres inaugural Expose' program, which showcases Blue Mountains artists. The Expose' is comprised of 6 exhibitions per year, a mix of solo & group shows, demonstrating a range of themes & disciplines.

This is my first show in a public gallery. It's been a while since my first solo show & I've been working hard to get back on track with my practice. Nice to feel the support of my local community & the Cultural Centre team.

More info to follow soon…  ♥

My sculpture 'Vaned Form' is installed in the Lane Cove Gallery Outdoor Plinth, outside the library on Longueville Rd Lane Cove, From January 16th - February 11th 2014. Thank you to Lane Cove Gallery, for this special opportunity.

As an emerging artist, I try to keep an eye out for opportunities to exhibit for free, and the outdoor public sculpture plinth is a great vessel for bringing
contemporary Australian art to people in their local public places.

REAL TIME MAGAZINE 14/5/13 - A little mention & a lovely perspective, By Gail Priest

Below is the excerpt from the article about Sculpture at Scenic World 2013, by Gail Priest...

'Blue Mountains artist Linda Seiffert’s ceramic creation, Undulating Form, also brings to mind the wonders of the fungal world with its interlocked twisting surfaces finished in a dusty, deep ochre, embedded in the humus. This work really looks as though it could have grown here'.
Gail Priest (RealTime Magazine, issue #115 June-July 2013 pg. 56)
